Johnny Scratch Vs 80`s Hip Hop The 40th Bday Mix

The culture and lifestyle that we know as Hip-Hop has just celebrated it`s 40th Birthday!! So i decided to pull out my all time favourite 80`s Hip-Hop tracks and do a mix.This mix contains 18 of the biggest Hip-Hop tracks that blew me away when i first heard them.Back when we used to stay up all night and record Hip-Hop shows on the radio then go out and try and find those fresh new tunes on vinyl from the local record shop.On this mix i used all only 12" vinyl...No CDs..no MP3s...no Traktor...no edits...i just pushed play and this is what came out.To keep it authentic sounding there were no effects used and i did all the scratching like i did in the 80`s(so it`s very dodgy).Massive respect to Kool DJ Herc for starting this thing we now call Hip-Hop...here`s to the next 40 years!!Feedback as always is appreciated and feel free to share this mix to all your old skool mates :)
